Trade for a Hilux?

Wondering how many people here would trade their current 4runner or Tacoma for a gas Hilux? I know a lot of people here are Tacoma transplants because it sucks. The Hilux is much more truck-like in every regard I'd say.

Would you buy a Hilux?

Ugly as hell in comparision and really not much more capable. Quite a few I saw in Africa had hooks for cargo tie down points and also the old school dual latch for the tail gate. Those options need to come to the tacoma.

The sole appeal is it would be a novelty in the US like a proper prado, or 70 series. Once that novelty wears off on you, you will miss the 4runner.

70 series any day over a hilux.. if I had to choose.
