Trail Center Trim on SR5 and Limited

It looks identical to my sr5 trim aside from the color and finish. Easy to remove and replace. I replaced it in my sr5, its about a 5 min job.

It is identical other than the SR5 has an electronic shifter for the transfer case, not a lever. Not sure the electronic panel can be moved from the stock silver panel over to the black panel. Keep us posted though, i'd like to do this also.

It is just a matter of figuring out the right part number for what you need. Like 2016 said above, the sr5 has the electronic shifter, I actually ordered one with the manual shifter inlay on accident and had to return it for the one with the electronic shifter inlay, so I know what you need is available on there.

Just found it in my old emails. The part I had to return with the manual shifter inlay like you show in your picture is # 58804-35490
That is the # for one with the light grey finish that matches my 2013 sr5 interior.

OK. Thanks so much Larry. Will check this out and post how to do this. I'm not sure what the 2013 "center console upper panel" looks like, but assuming it's like the 2015 Trail trim, I think it should work.
There are also silver door handle trims that match. I'll look into those as well.

You should be able to order one with whatever trim color you want, just use the search function to define the year and model, and they should have the part that matches.

I located the trim piece. How did you deal with the gear shifting piece to match the color?

Mine had some scratches back-and-forth across it, so I wanted to replace it. All I had to do was unscrew the handle for the shifter, and then grab it on the sides and pull upward. It takes a little bit of force, but it should come loose. I did not replace the piece around the shifter, the part that I ordered was color matched based off of the year and model that I searched for on the parts website.

Ahh ok, I see. We had a little bit of a mis com. I was talking about replacing the silver trim for the Dark Charcoal Trim from the Trail to the SR5. That's where all the questioning came from.
I like the dark charcoal look from the Trail / Off Road / TRD Pro trim on the center console, but the silver from the gear shifter is where I ran into the road block.
Looks good though! I'll take it apart and see what I can do to change the color.

You Can't Swap Center Console Trim
So I want this on record for people to know. YOU CANT SWAP SR5/Limited Center Console Trim for the TRAIL/TRDPRO trim.
Why? Because the upper portion, underneath the cup holder/change pocket piece, there's a layer of plastic underneath that doesn't match. You'd have to dremel one for the other and hot glue/super glue it.
Therefore, if you want to change the scratchy silver plastic trim on the SR5, the BEST OPTION is definitely to spray paint it yourself.
Hope this helps any of you curious about this and save you time and waiting.
