Trail Edition Badges Avail

I was going to post in the old thread but I thought I would make a new one.

Several People have been looking for the Trail Edition badges from the 2009 4Runner.

Several members said they were avail, and nobody could produce a part number.

I was able to get a part number from a dealer in Calif. thanks to a member with a trail providing me his VIN.

A set being one for the drivers door and one for the passenger door? is there also one for the hatch? or just the two?

I have never seen one in person, but I'm in Canada, we probably didn't get them up here or they are even more rare here.

I hope Toyota gets their act together for 2017 and makes a nice 6th gen 4runner with a Trail Teams edition or something.

just the two...

there are no other special badges on the truck..

my 4th gen has urban runner seats, and now it will have the trail badges...couple that with the 4x4 conversion, and i have a frankenrunner


NOTE: Dealer said there are 9 of these avail in the US....once they are gone...they are gone..

There are just 2. Its where the "SR5" and "4WD" badges are on those model. replaces them.

technically that would be in no way ironic by definition... however i do believe it would open you up to all sorts of lame bashing from Jeep guys...

I personally would not put a jeep badge on my Toyota, but if someone wants a 4th gen Rubicon....Run with it..

Exactly...I paided $100 for a Trac Off switch just because cause I wanted it to match my others.

Like the badges tho...but you need a rear locker with them or else your just a poser

Thanks for the part # here. I picked up a set for my 13 TE (actually my wife's for now until it gets a 100k miles - then I get it). I put them where the SR5 and Limited badges are on this generation since it came completely debadged as a Trail Edition. Seems to look proper now.

I think that looks GREAT. If i ever get around to doing the Trail conversion on my 5th gen i think i will do the same thing...

imo , i wouldnt put badges that dont belong on my vehicle(faking the funk)
like those guys who put saleen packages on v6 stangs.. no bueno

Yes it worth 80 buck. It adds 80HP to the car and 2 inches clearance.
