Trail Edition in Shoreline Blue Pearl?

Quick question regarding the black piece on the bumper that can be removed... is the bumper underneath painted or is it black also?

It is partially painted and partially the black plastic you see under the signal/fog light assembly. It looks just like the fascia on the 4x2 base model but with a bunch of slots cut into it for the tabs on black plastic over piece to slip through and black along the lower lip. If I had the spare coins jingling in my pocket, I might buy the front piece from the 4x2 just to see if they swap evenly.

Like the Metropolitan Grill, Salty's, and Daniel's Broiler... Tango is on the list but we get always seem to get diverted by the allure of Tai Ho, Ivar's Salmon House, or my own Michoacan-style carnitas.
 
I'd be very interested to know if the piece from the 4X2 would fit as well~ I think the 4cyl looks great and thought about that possibility too...

Tango is worth putting on top of your to-do list! I had to ask the owner, Travis, how he can swing the great prices for what you're getting and it turns out he leases the space from a non-profit of some sort so he puts it back into the ingredients. Whatever else you get be sure to order the "cheap dates" (I don't like dates normally, but always end up getting 2 orders here as apps...) and save room for the "el diablo" dessert :biggrin2:

Great atmosphere and wine/ drink selection too~ I'd be blown away if you're anything other than blown away!

Care to share your carnitas recipe? =)

Also, to reference the other thread- some digging shows the new blue is different, slightly lighter now which looks great! ...and I think I'll follow your lead and just get the Shoreline with kdss/ nav here locally :guitar2:

Dealer in Colorado Springs has one.

Where in Colorado are you? I've seen a couple at different dealers in the Denver area.

For those who know the area, my TE in the sunshine with the Rockies in Glacier National Park as a backdrop. I love this truck!

Try searching Cars.com, I found 3 Trails and 1 Limited in Shoreline Blue within 250 mile of Grand Junction.

Menlove Toyota, Bountiful UT - Trail
Mountain States Toyota, Denver - Trail
Pedersen Toyota, Fort Collins - Trail
Spradley Barr Motors, Cheyene, WY - Limited

If you expand it to 500 miles there are 4 Trails, 4 Limiteds and 1 SR5

I was fun. Scratched the hell out of my truck on all the branches, but I'm cool with that. This was my first trip going anywhere really designed for 4x4 vehicles, so I'm still learning. It was a fun place and only a couple hours from my house so I'm sure I'll be back to get more experience.

And to scare the carp out of my wife. :girl:
 
Awesome, I have had a blast driving up here, took it on a couple off road aras on San Juan Island over the weekend. Will never drive up the rocks like you, but never scared to slide around and up some good gravel hills and slopes.
