Trail rim question

Hey guys,
I've seen a few Runners and FJs that look like they modified their center wheel caps. Does the silver ring around the center cap somehow pry off easily? Also looks like they popped off the chrome on the Toyota logo as well?

Reference the pic below.. looks like they just took off the ring.. subtle but I like the look. Thanks

I love this forum.. yep that's what I was talking about. I imagine I can pry it off with a small flathead screwdriver? Did your ring snap back on? I sorta like the the look of having them off but want to be able to put the ring back on.

Hehe sorry mine should read "Trail Damaged Rim" if you look closely you can see my rim is scratched pretty bad. I had no idea they came off and I never found the piece that popped off. Yeah I'd go with something flat
