I have a Phoenix gold battery isolator laying around and hoping I can use it to charge my trailer battery while driving. I don’t remember what vehicle I took it out of but it is a 4 post isolator. 3 main lugs ( one in 2 out ) and an ‘exciter ‘ small post. Will this be compatible with the factory alternator without extensive wiring mods? I would rather use this if possible vs buying something new. See attached pics and wiring diagrams I found online for it. Also this thing has no model number on it so I’m not exactly sure of the amperage rating.....call to Phoenix Gold got me no where without the M#. Any help would be appreciated!
