Trailering a 4Runner

Thinking about trailering my buddies 3rd Gen down to an off-road park about 120 miles from us. It has 3inch ultimate lift and 33's with roofrack etc. Question is do you think the 4th Gen will be able to trailer it, or will that be too much for it to handle.

Even with the mods i doubt the 3rd gen is over 3700lbs. As long as the truck and trailer total weight is less than 5000lbs (V6 4th gen) youre good.

yea you should be fine...i have the 4.7 V8 but i rented a uhaul car trailer(heavy as hell) and towed my isuzu rodeo with all of my boxes and things out of my apartment and a queen size mattress/box spring 200 miles and my t4r handled it like a pro.

we even had to drive through the really strong winds and rain...like i said...it did AWSOME.

i dont think you have anything to worry about brotha!! have fun!

Towed my dads boat once which is roughly in the 8000 lb range :D I have the 4.7 in it towed it just fine only thing was the rear sagged a lot and I have the toytec coils in the back lol
