Trailhead98's Build Thread

dude any pics of new bumper?

Runners still in the shop....hopefully will have it back in a few days and will have the bumper on. Here's a pic of it with my shackles added.

No bumper pics yet. The 4Runner has been in the shop for almost 2 weeks now. :redbrick: I called them today and they said they should have me out of there tomorrow sometime after lunch. So I'm hopeful but not counting on it. I'm just dying to get this bumper slapped on.
On another note, I got engaged yesterday, so I guess I should say my fiancee, got me a GoPro as a early bday gift since I'm going rafting this weekend. So I will certainly be using it with the 4Runner on trips. Anyway thanks to anyone that actually reads this, fingers crossed I'll have her back tomorrow!

Congrats! I took the plunge last October. Just get your toys now because all your money will go towards the wedding soon.

What are you getting done that requires your 4runner in the shop for 2 weeks?

Thanks man! Yeah, Im looking at sliders now, knowing I need to get them sooner than later haha.

A hail storm blew through here the first week of July with dime sized hail. The 4Runner took a nice little beating while I was at work. Mainly on the hood and roof, so my insurance is taking care of it, but they're using the method of paintless dent repair. Which is fine, but seems to be taking a long time. My plan is to hopefully get it today, and slap the bumper on tomorrow.

True that!! I got married 2 years ago and we also just had a baby girl. It is very hard to save that extra money to put toward toys. Im actually selling my motorcycle to get some funds for my runner.

Dude, you truck looks GREAT. That front bumper is awesome (especially for $200!!).

How do you like those 265/75 Warden's? Have they balanced easily, and do they drive nicely on the highway? I'm thinking about going ahead and just getting those for my rig, since I doubt I'll actually lift it or do much to it for a long time still.

Looks great!

Dude that bumper is awesome!!!

Thanks guys!

Nice! now all you need is a winch to fill up that top portion:D

no joke! I'd really like a winch!

Thanks man!I like the Wardens a lot. They've balanced alright, the hardest thing is to find a tire shop that will follow directions....they have some slight noise on the highway but nothing I can't handle. I wanna see another quicksilver build!
