i got a 92 and for some reason, after sitting for several months it wont go in reverse nor neutral , it drives ok, and it tends to put out a lot of heat, can feel it while driving :wtf:

Now back to your topic, it sounds like a transmission problem I’ve had with seals on the pump going bad/drying out, then the pump doesn’t work as well. Believe it or not, I’ve “fixed” bad shifts and seal problems with Lucas Transmission fix. Sounds like you need to start saving for a rebuild.
