Hi again crew

I looked down this morning as i was driving to work (mind you im a teacher, so its dark as night when im driving into work) and i saw the transmission gears (P, R, N, D, etc) were NOT illuminated....and to be honest, im not sure if theyre supposed to be!

So ill pose the question...are they supposed to be? I know how to change out any bulb, but not if i dont have to.

Short answer? yes.. They are suppose to be illuminated.

There is a small bulb under the console. Very easy to replace. I got my bulb at radio shack.

Im one of the guys that posted a "how to" for changing the bulbs in the dash (climate control and such). I should be able to handle this pretty easily.

Mine's been going out too, but I can give the console a couple good taps and it'll usually flicker back on. Maybe it's the bulb, maybe it's a wire or terminal, but I haven't gotten around to investigating deeper and fixing it. My point of course is to rap on the console and see if it'll come back before assuming the bulb is dead.
