Tranny question.

Had my new to me 4runner about 3 weeks now and I notice that sometimes after I stop at a light the tranny will clunk a little bit as if to shift out of gear. But nothing ever comes of it when the light turns green I go and nothing is wrong. Should I be concerned?

It clunks after you have stopped completely or when you're about to stop?

Probably not the tranny, probably the drive shaft. Do a search for driveline clunk, it should be easy to find. Grease the drive shaft, problem should be solved.
