Trans Cooler Search

Try to find one with a SPAL fan, it's the same as what came with the B&M. The cheaper fans are notoriously unreliable.
Are you going to bypass the factory transmission cooler? Are you worried about heat soak when idle and require a fan?

I'm conflicted. On one hand I feel the 4R's trans is already properly cooled for Toyotas specified max tow weight of 5k lbs, I shouldn't need a cooler, especially if I'm only towing 60% of the max. Also the addition of a cooler, lines etc marginally lessen the reliability of the vehicle simply because I'd be adding a component less reliable than the factory produced. On the other hand I want to take the best care of all my vehicles and if the fluid is getting to hot it may a good idea even if it would be covered under warranty/extended warranty. Anyone know what Toyota's position is on add on coolers?
