Transformation has begun

On my third Toyota 4x4, first 4Runner and it has met and exceeded all expectations. The t-100 and Tacoma both had their wheels and tires upgraded so naturally the 4Runner got the same. The trd pro wheels were the only option. It's just and awesome wheel. An iconic 4x4 deserves an iconic tire. I've always dug the bfg a/t. The new ones are very cool. So I went with the 10 ply 275/70. I'm very happy with the results. I do plan on a lift. Nothing crazy 2" up front 1.5" in rear. 5100s and spacers.
Also the wheels and tires were paid for with 165lbs of change that filled a 5 gal water jug. Of course wife jacked part of it for a new Louis Vuitton, but I still had enough

Good ol 5gal o change! I usually reserve that for vacation fun every year, maybe this year I'll reserve it for W/T to get us to the vacation fun!

If you got a 10 ply tire... you screwed up big time.. That would mean they are bias ply tires...

What you actually got is something called E load rated. Often referred to as a 10ply equivelent. It is not 10 ply in any way shape or form....It's a radial construction (I hope). The rating just specifies how the tire deals with weight, Nothing else...E rated tend to be tougher than C... but not always the case. they are stiffer.. at the same pressure.

Showin my age there. E rated. My 84 1ton gmc has 10 ply bias on it. We will see how these pancake. I had E rated before on my Tacoma and in the dunes they didn't float as well as C rated at the same pressure. The 4 runner is heavier though

My dad owned a vending company up until a few years ago. I worked in maintenance there for three years after college re-building snack, soda, food and coffee machines. I also did install and removals. Every time we'd move a machine I'd find a couple bucks worth of change. Usually quarters and dollar coins. I filled most of the jug in those three years. Girl at bank said I had $230 in dollar coins. She was shocked then I told her where I had worked. I started putting change in again the next day

I throw all of my change in some cups on my dresser. They hold about $150.
