Transmission fliud question

I recently towed a car in a U-haul dolly for about 600 miles in my 4runner.
What after care I should do to the transmission fluid? I saw someone said drain and fill trans fluid after the tow.

Some information about the fluid: most recent drain-fill in summer 2011 and so far I did 16,000 miles.

As long as you didn't overheat and/or burn the transmission fluid there's no need to do anything.

Pull the dipstick and wipe on a clean white paper towel.
If it's dark red, or brown (worse), it's time to change.
New fluid is a bright cherry red.

It didn't overheat or burn (didn't see A/T temp light coming on). I have an auxiliary cooler in addition to the radiator cooler. I couldn't hold the metal tube on return line for more than 1-2 seconds and this was the hottest I felt.

The fluid appears red (not dark red or brown :-()

Yes, I am trying to do a drain and refill as soon as I get some time off from work.

Thank you all for the advice.
