First. There is temperature fluctuation. I know it's because I probably put to much fluid in the tranny 4 months ago. So the radiator temp spikes up a little bEcause of that.
How man quests if oil should I put in after complete draining the tranny.

Second. There is a whining sound that comes fm the tranny during cold start up. After the truck comes into normal operating temps the shinny stops.

I already let about 2 quarts out of the tranny. Should I let out More?

Is the whining sound a sign of serious damage?

How far did you over fill it? Just a little, I wouldn't worry but if it was way too much, I've heard you can blow out seals. I just drained both plugs on mine the other day and I got about 4.25 quarts out of it. More if you drop the pan. Check the dipstick as you fill. I'd drain and fill with new ATF fluid and listen for a change.

ITs hard to tell since it dosnt all come out. drain as much as you can and then refill. its your tranny. check the dipstick as often as you wish lol.
