Hello everyone. I am in the middle of removing my transmission and have a few questions. I have a 1999 3.4 4wd AT cali emmisions 4runner. The manual that I'm using is for a 1996 tacoma.
.) The manual is saying that I should remove the exhaust pipe. I was wondering if it was necessary to remove the exhaust? It seems like the bolts will be hell to remove and does not seem like it would be that much of a problem. Is that only for the tacoma?
.) I didn't mark the propeller shafts. Is there going to be any problems with that? The manual says I should make match marks but I plan on using another transmission.I'm not sure how I would transfer the match mark to the new(used) trans.
.) What's the point of jacking up the front differential?
.) Is it necessary to remove the stabilizer bar?
