TRD Beadlock style wheels on a '15 'Runner

I'm new to this forum, like brand new.
However I'm not new to the game. I currently have an '09 Tacoma TRD Sport W Supercharger. I also installed the TRD sport exhaust and TRD Beadlock "style" wheels, among other things.
What I would like to know (and forgive me if this had been covered before but I didn't find anything in the search), but do the TRD Off-Road Beadlock "style" wheels have a different offset than the OEM SR5 OEM wheels??
On my Tacoma the offset with the TRD wheels results in a wider stance.
I am still waiting for delivery of my 4Runner, but due to the new styling of the 4Runners I think a wider stance wheel base is just what it needs.
If someone has installed these wheel and has pics, I'd love to see them!

Are those 16" wheels? If so they won't fit.

The offset is about the same. Toyota OEM wheels pretty much always have a positive offset which is why spacers are so common. None of this is relevant though as those wheels will not fit because they are 16". Due to the size of the brakes the 5th gen T4R's require a minimum of a 17" wheel.

If you want TRD headlock style wheels, you'll have to switch over to these for the fit. I've seen these on a few newer 4Runners and they look great.

I forgot about the forged ones. Good call! They are rather spendy though.

That's too bad to hear they won't fit, oh well. I like the look of the wheels on your 4Runner (bonus because mines the same paint colour too!) but I also found a site selling the same wheels as the TRD PRO except in Graphite instead of Black. I'm not married to the bead lock style, as it's really only for looks and not functional. And I'm certainly not doing anything crazy enough that will require REAL bead locks. Might have to look into a set of these...

Yeah if you want close to 2K in wheels. Those wheels are atleast $250 each plus the $300 per wheel to have converted to beadlocks

$250 per wheel is not cheap, but it's do-able. That's what I paid for the TRD bead lock style wheels for my Tacoma.
Definitely not going to be converting any wheels to bead locks. I have a dedicated off roader if I'm doing anything that serious. See Iltis...

Those are good and cheaper but made Cast Alloy where beadlock sim ones are Forged and thus nearly double in price.

I'm guessing forged = stronger??

Even still, I'm sure the cast ones will be more than capable of taking the limited abuse that they're likely to see. All I want is something that looks a little nicer than stock and is more rugged. LCF (Look Cool Factor) rather than all business.

Just curious, does anyone have experience with wheel spacers?? Specifically how they affect wheel bearings over time and issues with clearance?

I'm pretty sure they will fit the 5th gens. The FJ came with 16's as an option and on the TRD edition. If you look up the brakes you'll see the two share the same ones.

Correct, stronger and have better heat dissipation. However for daily driving with normal habits and without large amount of lateral load (such as seen on trails traveling along side incline) any wheel would be sufficient. Just get what you like because you'll see them every day for as long as you'll own your rig, therefore price becomes almost irrelevant. G.L.
