TRD CAI installed

Overall pretty happy with the install...as you will see in the write up, I broke one thing and found that a few steps could be done differently for ease. The sound this thing produces at WOT is awesome!

this clip was a bear to get out...you have to go under and squeeze the tabs to get it out...not easy

this clip was also a bear...its kinda like a zip tie...there is a clip that you can pry up with a tiny screwdriver then release the zip tie...

this clip just hangs after the OEM intake is removed...I just tucked it under the CAI.

now, I dont know if this is by design or not, but I'm a bit disappointed in how this gasket went on and I'm not sure why it wouldnt go all the way around

there is a tiny hose in the back that needs removed...well the plastic teet that its connected to broke right off...ugh

this step could have been done sooner...attaching the adapter could have been done before the intake box was installed...

attaching the MAF to the new TRD tube also could have been done before installing the tube. it would have been a bit easier.

the quality of the trueflow xdi intake is far superior than the trd. how much did u pay for this? i didnt want to spend over 300, so i got the trueflow xdi for only 285 at the most.

the trd intake sounds a lil quieter at wot, maybe it just me. u hear the trueflow sucking the air.
