TRD CAI installed

also read somewhere that folks who use k&n don't see any results b/c they have not tuned the truck to the new air filter. Does this app need tuning?

hmm.. found for $298.32 at truckcustomizers.com after a 12 percent coupon I received after I gave them my email addy, free shipping to boot!

btw amazon also sells this for 339, fast free shipping with prime. actual seller is amazon, no idea they stocked these kind of items.

Iron Clad Lou, thanks for taking the time to post the pictures and videos. Just installed mine. Just as an FYI, the gasket that was included with my intake went all the way around.

no problem..I hoped it helped...I may have to contact partznet about that gasket, thanks for the heads up.
 
Does this work with the V8 also, I would imagine yes. And is the application easy for an automotive mechanical spaz to do on my own, or drop it off at the dealer and have them do it.
 
Go with Volant. Better than K&N. It's a true CAI. K&N just uses a heat shield, but still pulls in under hood air.
