I bought TRD parts from Camelbak Toyota and wire loom, vacuum hose, silicon spray, silicon paste, zip ties from AUTOZONE & O'REILLY.

Anyone know if the TRD top fits the OEM lower section? Also, has anyone tried the TRD intake tube and left the OEM top section in place?

The TRD top doesn’t fit the OEM bottom, the way it attaches is fairly different.

I didn’t try putting just the tube on when I installed mine today but the outlet on the top looks to be in a different location.

Just ordered one today to put on my new 2018 ORP. Planning to match it with a Borla catback another month or two down the road. Was hoping to get around a 1mpg gain w/ 50/50 split of city/highway use.

Bewtween this thread and this one... doesn't sound likely.

I put mine in my 2018 Limited...and already installed the Borla several months ago. Sounds good, but I didn't notice much power gain, and MPG appears unchanged..

What you guys should do is order the parts separately and it ends up being a lot cheaper. I have the list of parts another member forwarded me and it ended up costing roughly 250 with shipping. PM me your emails and I can forward it to you.

I got a pack of plugs at the autoparts store. I think I used the one on the left in the pic, had to trim it a little bit with a razor, you'll see what I mean.
