TRD Driver Rearview Mirror Back Cover

Hi all,

I'm so upset and angry right now. Some Van just clipped my new TRD driver mirror as he was passing me on a bridge on the way home from work, it ripped off 1/2 of the black plastic backing, he didnt stop and took off, i told the Port Authority that van right there just hit me and took off, they said they couldnt do anything without the plate number of the van.

I just took 2 pics and will upload them now and paste here. If someone can help me replace this part, or where to get this part for cheap. I am not going through insurance as its just that black plastic backing.

bummer man! You can definitely find that piece and painted from the factory as well. I use camelback Toyota parts.

Depending on the amount of damage, you'll need either the mirror assembly or just the cover. Luckily if replacing the entire unit the TRD models don't have the signal built in.

You can look at the part number for whatever you need here.
OUTSIDE MIRRORS for 2015 Toyota 4Runner

You'll need either "Mirror Assembly, Left" PN 87940-35B70 or "Mirror Cover, Left (Super White) PN 87945-42160-A0

Edit: Mirror cover should be mag gray, quoted you for white since that's the color of my car lol. Camelback as someone else mentioned is a good resource too.

Thanks man. I called the parts department at the dealer i purchased the truck from, wanted to see how much it will cost through them. I'm wondering if i can snap the new one back on, or if i will need to bring it in for service. They did not have the part number and need to get back to me tomorrow.

Thanks alot! The back of the mirror is all black plastic, not painted grey, so thats a plus. No painting needed.

Had to replace mine a couple years ago. Back piece was $40 then. Easy swap. Mirror was 2 or 225, also easy swap. Maybe you should upgrade to limited mirrors with signals?
