Yeah i really like the way that looks, gives it a meaner more aggressive look. Have you heard what the Borla sounds like on the V6? i dont want it to sound like a bumble bee ya know. By the way nice ride. White always looks the best!
Have you ever thought of taking off the mud flaps? I took mine off to see what it looked like and it looks really cool (especially on white) I put them back on for now but once i get the silver limiited running boards im going to remove them so that there will be no black. Then with the exhaust it will look SWEET!

No, I haven't heard the Borla sound, but I think there is a sound clip posted somewhere you can listen to...
I'm going to leave the mudflaps on, as I drive in snowy areas where the "sand" used by DOT for traction is really 3/8"+ gravel...

Yeah that does suck, i used to live in Castle Rock CO and i would do the same thing as you. But i dont have to worry about that here in H town.

I moved from Parker, CO last year, and Colorado has the worst DOT winter management program in the US...
Having to get a new windshield every year is a joke...

TO BE HONEST WITH YOU GUYS I HAVE THE TRD, AND EVEN THOUGHT IT IS AWESOME, I WISH IT WAS A LITTLE LOUDER. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THAT RESINATOR LOOKING THING IS IN FRONT OF THE MYFFLER ON THE SYSTEM, IS IT THERE ON THE BORLA SYSTEM? IS THE BORLA SYSTEM LOUDER?

:The resonator thingy you're referring to is the catalytic converter, and yes, it would also be on the Borla system...
You could cut out the muffler and put in a straight pipe... That should give you the sound you want with the looks of the TRD dual... :rocker:

Could be... I haven't been under the vehicle other than changing the oil and installing the exhaust...
Could you kill the caps, tho??
I still think you could replace the TRD muffler with a straight pipe or Flowmaster if you're looking for a louder exhaust...
Just a suggestion...

The TRD exhaust looks great. Does anyone know who makes headers for the V8? Does installing headers void the Toyota warranty? Does anybody make a duel exhaust system, with duel catalytic converters, for installation with headers? As I think about this, it seems like to install headers with duel catalytic converters and duel exhaust there would have to be 4 oxygen sensors. Headers and duel catalytic converters and exhaust don't seem that difficult but 4 oxygen sensors sounds like it can't be done. Anybody know?
