TRD Exhuast

Anyone running a TRD Exhuast on 08 4 runner and thoughts good or bad? I was thinking of getting one the price is not bad but I did have one on my old tacoma and it was kind of annoying after a long trip not sure if they got any better this was back in 96. Any help would be great.

I have a TRD exhaust on my 08 and love it. It is not too bad and really quiets down at speed on freeways, but gives you a nice sound when you accelerate.

Totally agree. Other after market brands might be boomier but for a little head turning and a nice, comfortable sound I really like the TRD.

I would also like to know the best place. My buddy with an FJ found a place for I think 450, but that was for his FJ, is that the same? I'll try and get the website from him and repost.

Sant6236....you're right, it is. mosha20 mentioned that his friend with an fj found one for $450. just thought that if his friend was still in the market, he could save an extra $200.

TRD make duals for 08 v6 sport?Like the looks of duals.Not really interestd in it being loud.

If you are concerned about drone why not
have the TRD muffler welded into the stock system?
Keeping the resonator should limit drone.

That is a option the other is shoot it out the side like I did on my 04 it helped with the sulfer smell.

The TRD exhaust is designed to point out towards the side, not straight back like the stock pipe.

There is an increase in engine power, how much I can't say.

At idle or cruise it's very quiet.

darkie, sorry for the late response. My buddy has an FJ trail team so it already has the TRD on it, but 275 is a steal. He was just trying to find one for the 4runner.

I know TRD points out the side i was talking cuting and welding the original to shoot out the side I did it on my 04 and it was fine too I just like the style of out the side better.
