TRD Pro, Cornfed 2/1.5, Ridge Grapplers 285/70/17

I have a stock 2018 TRD Pro and looking for something to make it stand out from other Pros without sacrificing too much fuel economy or wet weather performance.

I was thinking of 2/1.5 Cornfed spacers and Nitto Ridge Grapplers 285/70/17 (load C).

I live in Florida, daily drive about 15k/year, often in heavy rain. I currently drive 85% city, 10% highway, 5% off road. I would love to go with a mud tire, but I assume I would take a huge hit on fuel economy and have some issues in the rain.

Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated!

You'll probably have to trim your fender liner, possibly remove (or heat-n-beat) the front mud flaps. I'm here in FL too and I haven't found an AT tire yet that has great wet weather performance. No hydroplaning, just the rear end wants to kick out on tighter turns (4R and Jeep). Simple solution is to just go easy on the skinny pedal when the roads are wet.

If you go with the Nittos let us know how they do in the rain.

i have those nittos and have not had any problems in the rain in the past 6-7k miles ive had them on. that said, if you are daily-ing these tires that much u may want to go with an AT

IMHO, Put some Michelin Defender LTX's on, you won't be sorry. They may not look as rad as 'mudders', but they are great tires for all situations you will encounter.

I am currently running the Cornfed 2/1.5 and it has NOT compromised ride quality at all. Highly recommend it.

I run the stock pro bilsteins with a 1" spacer and T13 rear coils (2/1.5) with 285/70/17 Wildpeaks and love it. It's exactly how it should have come from the factory. You will very likely have to trim the bumper and/or push back the fender liner/mud flaps.
