Definitely TSO. And don't waist you $ on the letters. It looks way better with out them and its like having your name on your shirt... not for me.

I have read that people are complaining about them fading. Not good, especially living in Arizona.

If you are concerned with fading, you can always hit it with rattle can first. No issues in Jersey, but the sun is not as intense here.

I wrapped mine in a satin black, so that's a possibility to combat the fading.

Which I don't understand at all, because the Taco and Tundra Pro grills are roughly the same price and they're entire grill replacements, not just one little piece.

The TRD insert looks cool but I agree. My dealership "customization" guy quoted me $1350 for the insert and installation. And that was right after he quoted me $1700 to install Bilstein 5100's in front (front only). I never intended to have them do the work but I was curious to see what they would charge. I laughed all the way home.

Wow! The grill part is probably about right though, at least through the dealer. I got a quote right around $900 just for the two grill pieces from my local dealer.

Looks like a pretty good price. Shipping will take a while. I hated that stock one that’s on the SR5 and TRDORP. Don’t like the TSO version either. Looks naked and unfinished without the letters. I always think it’s funny when people say it’s too expensive for a piece of plastic. If Toyota just out this on every 4R and charged $700 more for the truck we would all happily pay for it. I couldn’t care less about heated seats, mirrors, or windshield wipers, but that’s how the truck comes so I just paid for it... not a second thought. Since this grille piece is sold as an add-on many folks throw a fit about the price. People are funny.

Odd opinion given that TSO sells the letters to add to the grille...
With Black Friday on the horizon, I’d suggest stalking the vendor forum for deals. If you prefer the OEM piece, then check out the ebay thread here for the 20% off codes that ebay shares from time to time.

So you do like the TSO with the letters?? Your opinion is confusing, unless you didn’t realize they offered letters.
