I was lucky that another member here in town know how to do it. After seeing it done, it's definitely an easy install with the right tools. I've never installed any type of suspension, and feel confident that I would be able to do it....with the tools of course (I can hardly find a screw driver when I need one). Hardest part was compressing the springs, which can be solved by taking them to your local bigo tires or any other shop to compress them for you...

That looks great!!! Just got my 2016 and love the stance of yours....do you or anyone have an estimate to have someone do the install? i see the $399 for the kit but was curious. Also problems with ride, alignment etc??? thanks again!!!!

Lol...that's a trick question. If we had the right compression tool for the springs? Would have been done in about 2 hours total. But because we were trying to compress with the not so ideal spring compression tool, that alone took us some time. If you don't want to mess with it and just take them out, stick them in another car and drive down to a shop to compress for you... You're golden. I give it 3 hours max. The rear springs were very fast.

I did call around on pricing. 120 for the rear, 220 for the front, and another 150 for the alignment.

We installed it without messing with the alignment at all, it drives 100% straight. Zero problems with the install or the ride. So if you do it yourself, your only cost will be tipping the guy at the shop to compress the springs for you.

I've already thought about it. Wouldn't be too hard if there were enough buyers on the table. Problem is it's specific to the trdpro, so getting the numbers would be a challenge compared to other group buys....and I didn't want to wait.

yep... code 112710 gives you a $20 discount... that's about the cost of the shipping. Oh well, should have checked that first... :doh:

Here's a side view of the lift with original wheels. I don't think it looks bad, but would probably look better with 285s. We'll see what the prices are on black Friday.

You remove the old thin one...

And replace it with the toytec version...

It slides right off and the new one slides right in.

Yes, the superflex coils were super easy to install. Pull the old ones out, and stick these in place of them.

I saw a link for a Toytec lift but it included springs that it doesn't look like you changed out. If you wouldn't mind can you tell me where you got the kit from and if there is some special detail I might need to find it? You planning on adding the Spidertrax?

Thanks for the pics, it helps with perspective. Was there a two inch difference between the front and rear of your rig? 2inches in the front but left the rear stock height and that leveled it out?

On his to mine the front is the same and 3" difference in the rear. My truck unloaded sits 1" higher in front. It's just temporary as im saving for icon stage 7.
