TRD Pro parts

I ordered mine on 9-3-14 and it still hasn't shipped. I called today and they said Toyota was limiting the release of this skid plate to dealers. Due to the 2015 TRD Pro being released with this skid, sales have spiked for it within the last month for existing 2014 non-kdss owners. Luckily, he said mine was due to ship to me Thursday. So don't be alarmed if it takes a couple weeks. It looks like a lot of 2014 owners really like the look and functionality of the skid.

Thanks for the info; this is the place I ordered my TRD wheels from; tried to call today but dude that would know the status was out. I'll wait until the end of the week to see if they ship. Thanks again

Are the shocks available directly from bilstein? or the springs directly from eibach?

From the picture looks like the fronts come with springs but, they are also sold seperate?

This was posted in the TRD pro thread. Pulled it out for reference. The number was pulled from a pic off of the 4Runner. But this shock seems to be used already on the Tacoma.

Saker: Awesome you got that shipped so quickly! I'm still waiting for the rims to come in. Just got off the phone with them and they can only order so many at a time as the parts are limited etc; hopefully my will ship next Tues/Wed is what they said. Oh, I got the TRD Pro badges from a local dealer; they had to call Toyota to see if they could order; no problems got them the next day.

TRD|Pro Suspension Package price

Just wanted to make sure this jives...I got a total of $1551.46 for a complete TRD|Pro Suspension Package (I added up what was posted above). That seem correct? If so, that's actually not half bad, except for the non-adjustability factor of the front coilovers. I was planning on either an Icon Stage 2 with tubular arms on the high end, or an OME setup on the low end, but the TRD|Pro setup seems like a decent price for something I can get factory support on and that is covered by Toyota's warranty...thoughts?

So I found this "package" on TRD Parts Center's website. They list it for $1317.50, although I don't see the remote reservoir brackets listed, and at $67.99 ea., that would bring the total to $1453.48 (not including tax and shipping). Still about $100 cheaper than straight from toyota. Just thought I'd share. Here's the link:

Is anyone actually planning on buying all of the suspension parts to turn their 4runner into a TRD PRO?

I love the TRD Pro but had my heart set on silver so it looks like i'll be getting a trail premium and looking to lift it. I dont know how feasible it would be to use OEM TRD Pro suspension parts though (cost wise). It looks like it will be just as expensive if not more than a lot of the aftermarket kits.

Does anyone know how soon these parts will be available or if they already are?

I'm on the fence about this as well. I want to see a trd pro in person, compare ride heights and possibly, but most importantly, how it actually drives and feels.

I'd give my buddies 5 cases of beer over paying someone else to install my stuff any day! Bottom line is, I'm trying to decide if this is the way I want to go with my suspension set up or not. Seems like a good price for quality, oem parts :decision:

I was looking at this from (when I was typing that above) the oem install from factory price vs a self install. I mean if the factory cost is only $100 more than the parts, the sticker price from Toyota would be an easy justification.

do I pay ~$1700 with it installed from the factory or install it later aftermarket for cheaper.

I know most people look at the option cost and say the hell with it, that's too much for that, I could do it cheaper afterwards.

this was my thinking when I skipped the automatic running boards on my LE, $1500 for that when oem static RB's are 2/3 cheaper. no brainer there for my wallet. but in hindsight, I don't like em so when I have time/money, I will replace them with sliders from schrockworks for about $700.

The Bilstein TRDs come as a complete assembly with springs already installed for the front???

We know that the rear shocks have the reservoir and an extra 1" of travel vs stock.
Does anyone have any info if the rear springs on the TRD Pro is the same as all 5th Gen 4Runners or TE's?

I never saw anything firm on this.

Maybe someone that has access to Toyota parts microfiche can let us know.
