The one's you saw on the videos and pictures were prototypes or concepts while developing the TRD Pro 4Runners.

Also, why some people are surprised when the front end isn't lifted as high as the pre-production data that was put out there.

Has anybody considered installing the regular Bilstein 5100's in the front set to 1.75" with the TRD Pro front coils?

No problem, I'm putting the TRD Pro suspension on a 2014 TE. I plan on having the fronts set on the second setting/perch.
Also, I'm not familiar with the seller/website that was posted so I'm hoping they are legit. I hate when I order online and then when the parts arrive they are jacked up or missing pieces. Fingers crossed. I'll keep you posted.

Update: just googled their address and they are a Toyota dealership in Mississippi, so I have some confidence my order will be okay.

Has anyone purchased and installed the TRD Pro Shift Knob? According to the Toyota of Dallas parts website, it shows it being listed for the 2014 Tundra and 2015 4Runner. If I remember correctly, didn't the Tundra version require a small modification (insert plug or set screw) within the knob's base in order to fit correctly on our 5th gens? Just wondering if this TRD Pro version will fit 2010-2014 4Runners.

The new ones fit the Tundra and 4Runner, they are identical. I have some pics in my build thread - page 4 or so. See my sig. Perfect fit with no modification.

Will TRD Skid plate fit 2014 Limited?

No @slyangel. I don't. the only one I have is pictured, if that is what you are asking.

Otherwise, there are pictures on the net of the TRD Pro 4Runner that shows the gap.
Or maybe someone can snap a pic for you with out the filler piece.
You have to remove it and the oem skid first anyway, install the TRD skid and look at it. I leaves gap in the front that was covered initially.
IMHO, for T4R owners wanting to install the TRD skid , Toyota could have included a template to cut down this piece and re-install.
I just installed the skid, placing the cover and marking to get a estimate of where to cut.
You may be able to make a cut template out of cardboard to get your pattern.
Either war, you will have to trim a couple of times to get it right, just don't get in a hurry, utility knives are sharp! (No, I didn't get in a hurry or cut myself!!!)

I was fortunate to get my fit as close as it is. It's as close as it looks in the pics.
BTW. once installed, this never has to come off to drop the skid for oil change!

Okay, so I received my TRD Pro Suspension. Everything looks good. Now I need to get it installed. Local dealership quoted $600 to $650 for install and alignment. That seem a bit overpriced so I'm searching for a local aftermarket shop to do the install. Also, the dealership service dept said they had no idea what suspension I was referring to, even after I showed them a pic of the kit and gave them the part numbers. Doesn't give me too much confidence that the install would go smoothly.

Glad you got your kit, didn't think you would have any issue from the website!
Did it come fully assembled or not?

On the other hand.......
I can't see where it would take a shop any more than 3 hrs to R&R plus alignment.
You may need to talk to the service manager and explain to him what the suspension is coming on and that is will fit without issue on your truck.
