These prices are laughable, if they truly represent what dealers are paying for used Pros. More than MSRP, new. LOL

The Inferno color is sexy though. Idk about 6 grand more than what I paid sexy, but sexy none the less.

I'm in the market now and would really like to pick up a Pro. As others have said, dealers just aren't taking much, if anything, off msrp. Most of the Pro's arriving at dealships around here are sold before they hit the ground. I'm starting to think it might be easier and a whole lot cheaper to purchase an SR5 or Trail and add the TRD bits.

I can tell you this, I looked at a Sand(?) 2016 Pro, the dealer is an friend of a friend type thing...He said if I wanted it, it was mine. I was looking for a deal, wanted a sunroof and knew I was going to lift it...I told him no thanks, just get me a black or white trail premium (Which he did).
I stopped back the next week to place my order, the Pro was gone. Asked the Sales MGR, what he got for it. It did not have much in the add on dept, sticker was 42,700 (I think). Someone from Pittsburgh called and offered $48,000 for it, the sales mgr could not believe someone would call and offer that much, then follow through.
This reminds me of way back in 1992, when my Dad got a 1st edit. Viper.

It's ridiculous, but deals can be had. I had to have the Quicksand and it's only available on the PRO. I will also be leaving the suspension stock for the entirety of the warranty. Famous last words, I know ...

At the auction any dealer can buy the pro. So that's probably why it's going for so much higher. used dealerships that sells different brands and models would love to have this on his lot to attract buyers. Manheim is the one place where most dealers refer to their pricing points when it comes to used cars. Dealers are not concerned about the price but the vehicle. They put a monthly payment sticker on the window and that's what they hope will sell the car.

I looked at a few PROs over the weekend. I gotta say, they are attracting a high dollar amount not just for looks, but just because its hard to find a good and clean used T4R, SR5, TE, or Limited 4WD, its worth it I think! Toyo dealers know this. There is hardly stock.

Raptors are the same way. Guys are selling 2014 models with 25K miles for what they paid so they can pick up a 2017 and hardly be out a thing. Why oh why do I like Unicorns like these :roadkill:

Its really not just an appearance package, its a suspension, wheels / tires, and appearance package. Much of which people with other trim levels decide to incorporate (both the appearance and suspension components) into the look of their 5th Gen at additional cost, labor, and time to them after the fact.
Granted, it's silly to pay over sticker ANY time, even for a limited run vehicle... and if you plan on modding the sh*t out of your suspension anyway it doesn't make much sense to pay slightly more for the Pro unless you're lazy like me and / or would rather just roll that cost into the total dealer price of your rig.
But it's not just an appearance package. I don't see many people ragging on others over the additional cost of the LE, which is also a suspension, tech, and appearance package despite it actually costing way more than the Pro.
It just depends what you want and what your plan is for the truck.
