TRD Pro Quicksand Picture Thread

Curious if anyone's dipped the flares and posted.

I did. I don't really like the height or rivets on the BW flares, but what really killed them for me was the price and the fact that I'd pretty much have to run spacers to keep the look I wanted because of the extra .75" or so of flare (to keep the wheels from looking sucked in when they sort of borderline have that look stock). So long story short I decided to try dipping the flares first to see whether I liked the look, and now I have to say that any time I see a Quicksand without them I think it looks naked.

Here you go...

EDIT: I dipped the roof rails too because I think its asinine that they left them bare metal with all the other black accents on the truck. Way better now, IMHO.

Yeah I love this color. Nice pics everyone. It is amazing how different it looks in different light situations. No sun, looks really dark, lots of sun and it looks light. I have not seen one in person but I have seen the Tacoma's and Tundra's. I have a quicksand 4Runner on order, can't wait to see it in person! I am currently running a Sandstorm FJ, the old Toyota tan which is a bit lighter. Anyway, awesome color!

All these great pics are driving me nuts, my quicksand TRD should be rolling off the roro into port newark tomorrow, then the wait for customs and port prep......i have no fingernails left.....:twitch:

Put a deposit down on a Quicksand today! I am pretty excited.

The factory running board offerings are meh. I need to find better options mostly to help my girlfriend get in the truck. I will see what I can find for slider/board options.

Love the color. Nice pics everyone. Had I been willing to spend the money on a TRD Pro, I would likely want the exclusive color for the year. I loved Inferno last year, love Quicksand this year, and look forward to the Cement color next. I'm definitely jealous! :)

Fell in love with this color online on a Friday.
Checked it out on Sunday when it was already on hold.
Went off of hold Monday and I drove it away on a Tuesday.

You can see the photos, after and before. Just installed the Toytec 2" lift, spacers up front and new coils in rear. Feels much better having that RTT up top.
Looks pretty cool, if I do say so myself.

Looking good! What front winch mount/bumper do you have on there?
