[MENTION=131471]CF_Machete[/MENTION], you know I never really gave that any thought, due to the cost of the JDM mirrors required, but then again people will need the premium mirrors to add the turn and puddle lights. Might as well skip the premium mirrors and go straight to the JDM ones at that point?

To answer your question, yes it would be easy enough to build in power folding functionality with the harness prototype I have, or build a separate one for the power folding mirrors/Cab wiring for those who want it.

I probably won't purchase a set myself until I get supplies to build the original prototype harness I currently have. Again, before I even drop money on a set of JDMs I want to make sure it can be done with the existing prototype.

You will need this harness to add the mirrors due to Toyota’s choice to wire the doors and connectors differently for the mirrors.

For those that want, I will also add the requisite wiring for those that are going to or plan to add a power folding function to their mirrors. I will just need to know ahead of time

Folks, I wanted to post this in this thread for a few reasons. Right now some stuff is in the works. What I can confirm is that achieving the prospect of turn signal, puddle light retrofit has been done, and is coming in June.

I can say that adding a power fold mirror option to the above or as a standalone feature for those who do not want the turn and puddle lights doesn't require a premium price for minimal parts, and can be done yourself with some work. I felt I was doing a disservice to the folks by not saying that this can be done, by oneself and potentially cheaper. Research is being done to try and procure the necessary parts.

I have discussed with [MENTION=269972]DEUS-MACH1NA[/MENTION], [MENTION=8730]jcage89[/MENTION], and [MENTION=51033]97BlackAckCL[/MENTION], and they can confirm my findings when I say the above.

Here is a sneak peak of some of the retrofit coming. All wiring will be 100% OEM.

Yes I can personally confirm [MENTION=150567]Old Red[/MENTION] is the man!!! A huge talent with the integration harness work and a super fair guy sharing his skill with all of us. I have implemented his Accessory Meter Display harness, Foot Well Lights and more. All of these great integrations look and feel totally OE and super high quality materials and makes me enjoy my CavBlue '18 Pro even that much more. Beyond this he has assisted with other project questions unrelated to his mods and I appreciate it! If I was looking to add premium side mirrors with turn/puddle and/or power folding mirrors op2: I personally would wait to see what he has in store! Thanks Old Red!

So I just got a quick question, does this wiring connection go from the mirror light bulbs at the puddle and turn signal to the connector in the door, or from the connector in the door to a point you have to find to supply the voltage for turn signal/walk up lighting?

When the harness is released is June alongside the write up, I will go into more in depth explanation. These are all connectors and terminals from one of Toyota's OEM harness and connector manufacturers. To answer your question, this harness plugs into your door so that you can plug the premium mirror in without having to cut or splice wiring due to the different connections and wiring. You don't have to do anything inside the mirror for the turn and puddle lights. This will also allow you to be able to still run your original mirrors should you ever need to. Just simply unplug the harness from the original door connector. PM me if you have any more questions.
