TRD Pro

Hey everyone, the TRD pro has arrived here in Canada. I want to change my 2014 SR5 for a 2017 TRD pro. I Know that the suspension is a hloe lot different. I want to know how does the TRD pro feels compare to SR5. I enjoy the smoothness and comfort on my SR5. I Gravel à lot with my familly 500 miles to go to my cottage. So I wonder if the TRD is really a stiff ride on the highway and in the city. I also hunt a lot this is mainly why I want to change.
Thanks your comments will be greatly appreciated

I only test drove an SR5, but it seemed a little floaty to me in stock form. The TRD Pro suspension is supposed to be softer I think, however, I would disagree. The spring rates are very good, and don't leave you bouncing over things. There is not body lean. The Pro has a more controlled feel to it, similar to what I am used to with the TRD Off Road Tacomas I have had in the past. For me, the suspension upgrade was a definite step up from SR5 trim. However, I'm sure you can get much better in aftermarket for your SR5 without paying near what a Pro costs.

Moving from a Jeep Grand Cherokee to TRD

hELLO aLL,

Im planning to move from a Jeep Grand Cherokee to 4Runner TRD Pro, planning to start my 4WD journey. Unable to decide between a Wrangler and TRD Pro.

Any suggestions

Thanks

The PRO suspension actually is tuned very well for what you are looking for, however you could upgrade your SR5 suspension and much much more and be way better off than spending the cash on the PRO...

Or if your just looking for something new, look into the TRD Offroad and upgrade the suspension

WElcome, lol it's funny though how most of the people giving welcome are new like me (almost like were trying to get our post count up.....)
