TRANSLATION: I thought the topic of this thread was about a supercharger, not grammar? Haha, anyway, this thread has been killed by bad posts. Stay on topic, it's more annoying when people don't.
Haha, would you like to compare who has had more helpful posts on this forum?
As if this thread had a future? I prefer reading legible posts. It's not that hard, punctuation marks are provided in easily accessible spots on all keyboards. This peeve is right alongside the people who can't use their turn signals, as if it was difficult! When searching through threads, believe that if OP typed like that, I'd click back and look for the next result.
Example: its harder to read when there are no commas or periods it makes it hard to differentiate when a sentence is supposed to end or start that in turn makes it hard to help the person asking their very long question it only furthers the point that punctuation is necessary then we get people who defending the poor punctuation trying to make this forum a harder place to visit we get into arguments trying to justify the lack of punctuation in prior posts my dog is awesome he only likes to stick his head out of the back window the air is less overpowering for his face my supercharger doesnt have instructions why i dont know there should be brackets where are they i just want to make sure the thing fits bought it for $250 idk if thats good sounds good to me OP should help us out a bit use commas and periods lololol
Annoying, eh?
COB, Watch out when you try to go down the moderator rabbit hole.
Been there, done that. All of a sudden you have to offend nobody, while pleasing everybody. You've got to be a role model. Site ownership expects "things". It's a burden.
In my experienced opinion, I'd rather have the freedom of speech that comes with being a regular member... You've really got to be a mega a-hole to get the ban hammer.
As a mod, you walk on eggshells. It's like being a voting taxpayer versus being a politician. One can say whatever, whenever, while the other has to watch what they say all day, every day. In the end, only the voter makes a difference, while the politician gets the illusion that they hold the power.
Appreciate the good words, BFAD. The post was more intended to be a joke, though, I would happily accept the responsibilities as a moderator. If it meant toning it down a bit, become a better role model, so be it.
I'd like to do it solely to return to this great forum. It has been an undeniably huge resource. Of course, if it's not as expected, I'd happily resign. I'd really like to take action against these constant new spammers.
If it said Moderator under my username (El Moderator Spectacular! lol), the rules would be reasonably enforced. I'm here to help. Too many mods on other forums go on power trips (waskillywabbit anyone?), not quite my intentions. However, I won't be afraid to put the ban hammer down when rules are clearly broken.
