TRD Tundra Fronts Vs. Toytec Ultimate CO's

I will start off by saying that I do not have Toytec coilovers, nor have I seen them. I have had coilovers on other cars. The difference in a coilover and a shock is that you actually disassemble and rebuild a CO. This can not usually be done in a driveway and have to be sent out to a service that will rebuild and recharge them. A set of shocks/struts you remove and replace.

gotcha. some coilovers are rebuildable. however, both Sonoran Steel and Toytec C/O's use maintenance free shocks meaning there is no rebuild. the only difference between the shock on the Toytec(Bilstein 5100) and the Sonoran (5125) is the 5125 is valved softer. however the tundra springs are generally stiffer so that really negates any difference. so basically same process for rebuilding. just replace the shock.:guitar2:
