Some ideas on fixing up Trail rims with some paint or decals.

Making them "busier" does not make them better. Ugh.

Heck yeah. Those would go great with some of those stick-on louvers for the front fenders and a sweet chrome exhaust tip.

Your intentions for designs are good, but paint or stickers will not cut it. The only way to really make those designs work for you would be to take them to a machine shop and have the wheels professionally milled out (keeping structural integrity in mind) then refinished by way of paint or powdercoat.

I like the look of a few of them. Better than the TRD black wheels. But it's all subjective. I also think a highlander is a better looking SUV than a 4runner too.

Darken the dark

Tried to simulate it but idea is to darken (black) the already dark areas and leave basic wheel design alone. No new marks. Even black out the center. Find a TRD center cap decal insert to replace existing and maybe ends up a nice subtle change but sporty!!
