Trying out a new color for my lower trim. Got some plastidip to test. If I go black I am going to rhyno line it. What are you thoughts? Green and black or stock color scheme?

After waking up and looking at it I think I am going black. And holy cap that plastidip stuff feels and looks pretty tough. Still going to bed liner it but really surprised about the quality of it. Might have to see how long it will last.

i did the same on my truck, i used about 4-5 cans of rustolium bed liner, looks great! but for the best result put lots of thin coats on 3-5 min apart....id say 4-5 light coats looks great! and the light coats hide the fact that ure using spray...

Di you pull all the trim off and spray it? Just wondering on if it could be done on vehicle. Just coated the rest black and love the look. It will really look great with black wheels. Just waiting on my state tax return for wheels. Huh

i left it all in place and taped it off then newspaper on all the edges of the car upwards....make sure you tape off your door jams!

Sweet! That's my next task. Finished it all in plastidip and really like it.

I like the black! Have you considered doing the green to match, rather than two- toned?

Also, I think you should get the TRD decals on the rear quarter panel by the gas door! :D

For sure getting the TRD badges. My neighbor is trying to convince me to let him paint the whole thing flat black with jams and all. Said he would cut me a deal but not in the budget right now.

I like the black and green, makes it look mean. The rougher bed lined look might look cool, too.
Also, I would personally not recommend a flat paint job. I had a flat black s14 and it always looked dirty, even when it was clean. I later painted it gloss black and have been hating flat paint jobs ever since.

I like the look of the green with the black flares. I think it would look even better if the lower cladding was green too and just the flares were black.
