Theres almost never a discount for labor. If thats what you are interested in, i know that rickashay is willing to do a professional installation for you.

Wasn't there one a while back with LightWerkz and TRS together? I think our fellow member Ride put it together? From my memory the labor was pretty reasonable but you were limited to the products installed.

Anyhow, just saying that would awesome if there was one but yeah, labor is hardly discounted.
 
Ride's GB price for the fxr was 270 after discount translating to about 15% off. This deal is for 25% off which comes out to around 240.

And then i guess the quoted discount for labor equating 300 down from 400+. (i have no clue what the quoted prices for labor are for either mini h1, or fxr as i am going to do it myself)

I think Rickashay would gladly do it at $300.. BUT i am not sure so PM him. lol.

EDIT: I RETRACT THAT LAST STATEMENT ABOUT RICKASHAY DOING IT FOR 300. PLEASE PM HIM IF YOU WANT AN APPROPRIATE QUOTE.

Haha, hey hey you quoted it! $300 is a good price, compared to what I've been quoted for labor. But can he install an LS430 in our housings? I know Caesar can. Lol.

TRS group buys are great by the way. There's no better deal, than a deal on quality products.

I believe he's made ls430 retrofits in the past from the numerous threads I've read but you are you going to need to contact him to be certain. He does quality stuff in our third Gen section.
 
Thanks for the plug blizz86, I appreciate it! I would be willing to work some kind of discount for the group buy. I'm not sure how I'd want to work it but if you give me a day I could come up with something that would benefit the forum members. I would probably do something like what Caesar did with the limitid options your could choose from. Is there any interest?

The only thing is that with me being up in Canada, shipping will be a little more than normal. But I'd even set up a killer deal for all the Canadians considering it.....

How about the LS460 retrofit using the OEM solenoid in my 4Runner housings? Half the housing is completely new and molded to make these things work in my housings. Or how about my dual Tacoma retrofit? Caesar does great work, no doubt but I wouldn't think my retrofits are any less professional.

I have already got several PM's regarding labor rates. Unfortunately I'm currently running my laptop off of my iphones hotspot for internet. I'll be back in civilization on Wednesday and if there's some interest, as mentioned above, I'll come up with a discounted price given a specific volume of work - typical group buy stuff. I've seen Addison's work in person, including both trucks pictured above, and it's definitely top notch. When I finally get around to a retrofit he'll undoubtedly be the one I ask to do it.
