I use a black sheet for the back and you cant see anything with the factory tint


I'm confused by your goal though, are you concerned about someone picking the lock?

I use a pet hammock. It blacks everything out so anything under the hammock is not seen.

From what I've seen, thieves will try door handles for open doors and rummage, or in the unusual case of forced entry, use spark plug pieces (porcelain?) to shatter the glass without the loud impact sound. I can't recall any key receiver being compromised except for the ignition.

My fix for storing on the go, i left the 3rd row seat belts in and used the mat to cover it up and rear cargo net.

I tried that but they still manage to get in

do people break into cars by picking locks?

Not so much picking but they do punch them. Some cars are easier then others. I’ve seen a trend of 300s and chargers that would get their locks punched. You couldn’t see any damage on the outside but the locks were destroyed and the doors unlocked.

Thats what Im talking about...Its not hard at all and I think 4runner falls into category of some cars are easier
