Trying to decide on exhaust. Is flow master the best choice?

I have a 91 4runner with a 22re in it and I'm wanting to upgrade my exhaust next, I have a few friends with flow master exhaust on there toyotas but im just curious to know if there are any other brands out there that's should consider before I buy flow master. Any help or advice would be appreciated thanks.

Borla Cat-Back Exhaust

I'm not sure which is the "BEST" per se, but did some research recently & decided to order the Borla cat-back exhaust. I've had another Borla installed on a different vehicle & was pleased with the product. Just wanted you to know there is another option for you.

I would go with just a pre fab kit. Ive just only heard flow master exhaust on all the toyotas im around so im just wanting to know if anyone else had another exhaust they liked or prefered and so I could look into it as well. I will take a look at the borla exhaust and see what they offer.

for a 91 4Runner, you options are very slim if not any. I think LC Engineering makes a kit.

I've heard Flowmaster quality has gone down hill in the recent years. In general, I've always like the sound of Magnaflow and then Borla.

I put a flowmaster on my 98 and it sounded odd for the truck. It looses its distinct toyota sound and has a very throaty annoying one. So, I had a bad experience w it.. I would try something different..
