Trying to get into a 4runner, again...

Well my last attempt at a 4runner fell a few hours too late for me. I was ready to pay cash for a screaming deal on a 2005 V8 Limited, but you snooze you lose even if it's just by a few hours. I'm sure it was another T4R member that snatched up that deal before I could.

Now I am looking at a 2014 model. I sat in a limited today and I can see myself having one as a daily driver, though not a limited model. Leather and built in nav are not really my thing. I grew up with low tier models with cloth seats and basic stereo. I'm stuck between the SR5 and SR5 Premium models. As far as I know, it's just a matter of what options I want. I'm not a rock crawler person. The only offroad conditions I will be doing would be getting to fishing spots, camping, and snowboarding which my 2009 STi does fine. I'm planning on trading it in for the 4runner.

Must haves:
4x4
White or Gray exterior
Rear spoiler (not sure if 5th gen is even sold without one)
Tow package
Sunroof

Would be nice, but not necessary:
Heated seats
Premium stereo
Bluetooth
Sliding cargo tray

So I test drove an sr5 today, loved the white color exterior. It had the added nav system and they wanted $35.9k for it. I definitely don't think I could get used to the cloth sr5 seats though. I'm used to more bolstered bucket seats. Hopefully the premium softex seats are better. They said they could get me a white sr5 premium, but it would come with the 3rd row which I don't need, but would still be an added cost. I didn't do any negotiating as I only planned on test driving and determining which trim level I wanted. They offered me $22k for my 2009 sti with 50k miles.
