Trying to price my 4runner to sell. WTH Edmunds?

Edmunds is trying to tell me $380 for a private party value :wtf:? Kelley blue book is telling me around $1500. It is a 91 V6 4x4 5 speed 225,000 miles. Surely I can get $1500 out of it, right?

Assuming it runs good and isn't hacked up or abused, $1500 is close to the low end. If it's in good condition and mechanically sound, I'd ask at least $2000.

Depends on your area, though. Skip Kelley and Edmunds and look in Autotrader to see what other rigs with comparable years and mileage are selling for within a couple hundred miles of you.

I'll check out Autotrader and see what they are selling for. I mean, it isn't a beauty queen, but it runs good, had the head gaskets changed about 10,000 miles ago, and the interior is pretty good. only real body issue is rust above the rear fenders.

you can always reduce the price if you don't get any bites plus at that price range you're attracting lowballers

2nd Gen Runners came with 4-link suspension and that's one of the links and link bracket. Crazy low huh? I hate the stock link set up they're a total rock magnet!

i think 2,000 is a good price. and at that it will sell well.
the rust is just starting so it can be saved much easier if done right away.
