Aha! My daughter is 3.5. She's starting to enjoy going to the mountains, and the odds of success go up a lot if there are other kids around.

So I've got baby shower pick up duties Saturday, and my lovely babies mama works early Monday morning. I might check out the gap Monday morning, is 4wd a must? Or if I drive wisely I'll be ok? Thanks

Hehe depends on how far in you want to go. I'd be impressed if you made it to the gap itself (1/3 of the way in if that). Tell someone you're going if you go alone.

Never been that's why I was wondering, I won't try it alone for the first time, a jeep with dual air lockers will be showing me the way

Then by all means go for it! Tell us how you did. It can get hairy pretty quick, but there are great bypasses also. What are you driving?

OK guys last call for anybody who wants to go wheeling in the Gap this afternoon (sunday) We will meet up at the Valero gas station at oracle and rancho vistoso rd at 4pm. Bring a friend, it will be a blast.

That'll be a nice time to catch the sunset on the hill. I have some friends going at 9 also, one in a very well built 85 4runner(if you've seen it, it's inspired by "the joker"). No play for me though, family weekend.

it was a great time out at the Gap. We will be going again soon and I hope some of you will get to come. We had 3 rigs, my Runner, my wife's fzj80 white and a friend with his fzj80 tan. The monsoons have washed the trail out pretty good making for a fun time.




And yes we were tired on the way home. LOL
