I need to get some installed. Thankfully, I only scraped the undercarriage a little but thats what skidplates are for. Shes very capable as is, cant wait to get a lift on her!

I'm NE near Sabino Canyon and Snyder but commute down near the airport. Here is my plushy 4R V8:wink2:

Just mounted some 32" BFG KMs I picked up on CL as Rubicon take offs!

Stretching her bone stock legs on the back of Mt Lemmon about a month ago

I'm totally down for some trail rides ASAP and don't be scared to wave if you see me around!

New 4Runner in Tucson

Howdy, all. Just thought I'd say hello. I picked up a 2017 TRD Off-road Premium today at Precision Toyota. I'm a part-time landscape and nature photographer and car camper. I'll soon be throwing a hard-case rooftop tent on the rig, followed by some suspension mods and new wheels/tires. I'm totally new to 4x4 mods and would love to chat and get some advice on how best to achieve what I want.

I don't plan on doing much rock crawling or major technical stuff (though you never know). I spend most of my time hauling down forest roads and mountain roads, some of which can get pretty rough. I'm considering perhaps a 2-3 inch lift with an extended travel suspension. My old Jeep GC had BFG T/A KOs which I really liked, so I'm thinking about KO2s for this truck, though I'm certainly open to other suggestions.

Thinking of running chiva falls this sunday. I've never been there and I've read differing opinions about it. My 2013 TE is stock, is it do-able?

Yeah you'll be fine, I went out there when my 3rd gen was still stock and didn't run into any issues at all. I did have to stop short of the falls and walk a little. There's a really steep slope right before the bottom of the falls that I didn't feel comfortable going down. Have fun bud, that's one of my favorite spots in town.
