tundra coils and struts

ive found a good deal on some tundra coils and struts. i asked the guy what the color codes are on the springs and he sent me a pic. one coil has only 1 blue dot and the other coil has only 1 yellow dot?

i know i need the yy and yb. is this the same thing or what?

any info will be great!

I'm sure others will chime in but I think that these are Tundra coils, not the TRD Tundra coils. Again, I think that's the case but I'm not 100% sure, somebody else be able to confirm for you though.
 
yea thats what i figured. the guy works at a shop and said they came off of a 05 but he wasnt sure if it was a trd or not... thanks though!
 
To me those don't even look like Tundra coils. I don't know if it is just the picture, but they look small. Have him send you a full shot of the coilover just to make sure they are the right ones. They kind of look like 05 Tacoma coils and shock from a TRD Tacoma.
 
Yeah those are either 05+ Tacoma or 07+ Tundra shocks and coils. They won't work unfortunately. No problem with the help on both forums. That guy on TTORA is being an idiot and doesn't know what he is talking about. He was bugging me and obviously I couldn't get through to him.
 
but thats to buy them brand new haha I'm on a college budget. i need to find a cheap set. I'm waiting on my lc coils to come in and I've found some 883 and thought about getting those and then working on getting shocks. but i just don't know what to do.. buy the 883 or wait and keep looking for tundra coils
