Ok so I am really new here and I think to better explain why a college kid has this type of truck is that my Dad passed away close to a month ago from Pancreatic Cancer. While I was in the hospital with him he fussed about how I wasn't at school, how I needed to wax his truck and make it look good like I used to and how he was saving up for the $800 dealer recommended tune up.
The Truck just rolled 181k as of tonight. I think I have rounded up the parts needed so far:
1 Dayco Serpentine Belt
6 Denso Iridium power plugs
1 K&N drop in filter(put it in, in under 5 mins)
1 Cabin Filter
2 Power Slot Cryo-treated front rotors
2 Axel Sets of ATE Premium One brake Pads
I just did the oil myself about 1,4xx miles ago with Mobil 1 high mileage 5w30 and the Denso/Toyota filter and a new drain plug gasket.
I just plan on letting the dealer do the transmission flush and power steering fluid flush as my dad always had everything dealer maintained there. I just can't afford to do it all.
Is there any info ya'll could share about what would help out?
Are there torque specifics when it comes to the front rotors?
How to access the cabin air filter?
