Tune up time

My 99 has 192,000 miles on her. Next week I have to drive her out to Pittsburgh, about 300 miles each way. She's getting less than 15 MPG right now doing about a 50/50 city/highway mix so I figured I would do a tune up before I go. Here's my plan:

New air filter (also doing deck plate mod)
New NGK plugs
New NGK plug wires
New fuel filter
New upstream Denso 02 sensor
Doing ISR mod while I'm at it.
Oil change

I already have or have ordered all the parts. Anything I'm missing? Please tell me I can expect an increase in gas mileage... She actually runs great now, no issues at all but I'm hoping she'll just be that much better.

I'd also do the Front/Rear Diffs... Transfer Case... Tranny Flush. Radiator Flush as well as the Tranny Cooler while your there.
 
Clean the throttle body & MAF sensor while you're in there. CRC makes both throttle body cleaner & MAF cleaner.
 
You've got all the basics covered. I assume you are not due for oil change then?
The only small things I can think to add to the list are:
Clean MAF
Clean Throttle body
Check tire pressure
grease driveshaft

One more thing that will help is to change the differential fluid. Depending on when it was done last, you may be due for it already. Having front alignment that is out of whack will also hurt MPG's, but I wouldn't worry about it if you don't notice any pulling.

Also, 65-70 mph is the most efficient speed. At 75-80+, the vehicle encounters such high air resistance that it kills mpg's. When I drove up to keystone in January, I went 65 the whole way and got 18.75 mpgs (from ABQ to denver).
Keep in mind that I have a 3" lift and 33" mud tires and was loaded with 4 guys' gear and snowboards on top.. and on winter blend fuel..

EDIT: Don't forget to get a car wash before you leave town! A clean truck is a slippery truck! in terms of air resistance..

The tranny, transfer case and doffs were done at 153K miles by PO. Guess it couldn't hurt to do them again though. Thanks for the heads up guys.

30k is right on. I usually do my front diff every 60k though, partly because it's a PITA to get to and partly because the diff isn't always working so the oil doesn't get as cooked.

Oh you bet!

Deckplate has the same performance enhancements as swapping the body with that of an F1 car.. In terms of air resistance.
It's been proven with science and stuff!
