turn alarm on no lights flash?

Dumb question. Shouldn't the tail lights and headlights flash when I turn the factory alarm on? If so how do I go about achieving this? Mine doesn't. I've been googling and found nothing.

Yes, all the turn signal lights should flash once for lock and twice for unlock.

For more information, review your Owner's Manual under Wireless Remote Control: Locking and Unlocking Doors.

This statement appears at the end of that section:

"The following adjustment can be made in this system. For details, contact your Toyota dealer - Cancelling the flash of the turn signal lights."

You may need to visit a Toyota dealer to have this feature turned back on.

Thank you very much sir. I'm driving 12 hours a day and it's been bothering they flash when I unlock but not lock the vehicle. I went to look for the owner's manual and nothing.
