You need to find a combo switch with the same part# yours already has. Other switches will work but you will lose functions. I put in a switch with a different part # and lost intermittent wiper function.
What is your switch doing? If it's the headlight part of it messing up, take it out of the truck and carefully clean all the copper contacts on the headlight part.

The hi beams will stop working. I took of the steering column cover and noticed the plastic for the assembly is all cracked around the screw holes so I just left it alone. I also need to replace some of my ignition parts so it has to come off. Its working for now I just wasn't ready to be down for a day a looking for parts. supkar what function do your switches have? Maybe you have some stuff I need? After all we are S.C County
I have 2 combo switches available. They do not have the intermittent feature on the wipers but they work otherwise. I have had high beam issues on my old 87 and my 89 as well I don't know if it's the switch or a relay. I do get high beams by holding the switch back toward me. PM you phone number and you can try one of mine out. You can choose to buy it or give it back if not happy with it.

This is just an off the cuff idea but is it possible to tie in the high beams and run it through an old style floor mount dimmer switch. I have old trucks with these and am actually partial to dimming this way. Just a thought..
