Sorry if this has been addressed before but the search function here is pretty worthless and I didn't find what I was looking for.
Anyway, I'm comfortable with mechanicals but electrical as it pertains to automotive is completely foreign to me.
So I have a shrockworks bumper that I've been rocking for two months now with no turn signals. Mostly laziness on my part.
My question is, how is everyone else wiring in their turn signals on aftermarket bumpers?
The factory connection only has 2 wires. What do I do with the ground on the new turn signals?
Even after inserting the signal wires into the factory plug to test them, my blinkers are still doing the fast flashing thing. Do I need to wire in some resistors?
Why the go round?
Why are the new bulbs dual filament?
I bought new bulbs hoping that a greater draw would get the blinkers to slow back down. No dice.
I've looked for videos online and all
I can find are ground up wiring tutorials, nothing about aftermarket to factory connections.
A any help is greatly appreciated.
