Having turn signal problems, driver side only. About 4 months ago rear signal stopped working and I changed the bulb, even though it appeared fine. Worked for about 3 months. Then front stopped working, changed bulb and old bulb was definitely bad. Now, both front and rear driver side only don't flash. Bulbs are brand new, fuse is fine, wiring appears fine. Figured it's the flasher relay, but wouldn't that affect driver AND passenger side signals? Other than that I have no clue what the problem could be. Any ideas?

Cheap bulbs in my opinion. I will almost bet that they are loose in the socket.

Turn it HARD when you install bulbs...don't be afraid to apply a good amount of pressure. I struggled replacing mine but after applying pressure, it snapped into place and worked like a charm
If you feel like you did correctly snap said bulbs into place - and you have zero experience when it comes to wire work, then take it to your local shop and have them look at it. I'd try Toyota certified local shops before your local stealership since it's simple wire work.
However my local stealership usually waives diagnostic fee if I end up having them do the work needed

How do the actual sockets look? They look like they've been cooked/discolored? I've had one or two bad sockets before cause a similar issue.

I thought I posted a similar answer,guess I forgot to click submit LOL. I agree with the above,check the condition of the sockets.
Both of my front signal sockets suffer heat damage since the bulbs are constantly on during the daytime as DRLs. The passenger side was bad enough that it caused an intermittent connection.
I was testing a LED brake bulb on a GX470 and the whole taillight wouldn't light up unless you shook it, turned out one of the two brake bulb sockets (probably the same exact sockets as my 4th gen) was cracked.
The ground is good. The front bulb socket does look like it could be a problem, the rear looks fine though. I may get the front bulb socket changed and see if that helps. If it does then I may go ahead and replace the rear too just to see if it helps. I'll report back when done.
